Breast cancer modeling is an experimental approach used to study and simulate the development, progression, and treatment of breast cancer. Commonly used breast cancer models include cell lines, mouse transplanted tumor models, transgenic mouse models, etc. Cell lines are available for in vitro experiments, and xenograft tumor models simulate tumor development by transplanting breast cancer cells into mice. Transgenic mouse models mimic human breast cancer by manipulating key genes. These models help reveal breast cancer biology, screen drugs, and develop personalized treatment options.
