Pleiotrophin (PTN) is a secreted growth factor that transduces signals through cell surface proteoglycan and non-proteoglycan receptors. PTN binds to chondroitin sulfate (CS) groups and regulates cell proliferation, survival, and differentiation, particularly inhibiting long-term synaptic potentiation of neurons. Pleiotrophin Protein, Mouse (HEK293, Fc) is the recombinant mouse-derived Pleiotrophin protein, expressed by HEK293 , with N-hFc labeled tag.
