EphA2 Protein, a receptor tyrosine kinase, engages in bidirectional signaling with ephrin-A ligands, influencing migration, adhesion, proliferation, and differentiation. EphA2 interacts with DSG1, inhibiting ERK1/ERK2 signaling, impacting cell adhesion and UV radiation-induced apoptosis. In development, EphA2 contributes to pattern formation, angiogenesis, hindbrain development, and mammary gland morphogenesis. Its interaction with Ephrin-A5 maintains lens transparency, and in bone remodeling, it regulates osteoclastogenesis and osteoblastogenesis through Ephrin-A2 interaction. EphA2 also acts as a receptor for hepatitis C virus in hepatocytes, facilitating viral entry and membrane fusion. EphA2 Protein, Cynomolgus (HEK293, hFc) is the recombinant cynomolgus-derived EphA2 protein, expressed by HEK293, with C-hFc labeled tag. The total length of EphA2 Protein, Cynomolgus (HEK293, hFc) is 511 a.a., with molecular weight of 90-100 kDa.
