生物活性

Tubulin inhibitor 16 is a potent tubulin inhibitor. Tubulin inhibitor 16 shows antiproliferative activity. Tubulin inhibitor 16 shows cytotoxicity in HepG2 cells[1].

体外研究
(In Vitro)

Tubulin inhibitor 16 (compound 2) (0-25 µM, 24 h followed by a 72 h compound-free incubation period) shows antiproliferative activity with IC50s of 1.43, 0.19, 2.33, 0.58, 0.83, 0.20, >25 µM for MCF7, MDA-MB-231, HepG2, SNU423, A549, HCT116, THLE-3 cells[1].

Cell Proliferation Assay[1]

Cell Line: MCF7, MDA-MB-231, HepG2, SNU423, A549, HCT116 cells
Concentration: 0-50 µM
Incubation Time: 96 h
Result: Showed antiproliferation activity with IC50s of 0.75, 0.17, 3.12, 0.41, 0.37, 0.22 µM for MCF7, MDA-MB-231, HepG2, SNU423, A549, HCT116 cells, respectively.

Cell Cytotoxicity Assay[1]

Cell Line: HepG2 cells
Concentration: 0.5, 1 µM
Incubation Time: 14 days
Result: Showed no colonies were apparent when cells were treated with 0.5 or 1 µM.
