The CNTFR alpha protein is essential for binding to ciliary neurotrophic factor (CNTF), ensuring receptor specificity through its alpha subunit. It forms a heterotrimeric complex with LIFR and IL6ST to form a functional receptor. CNTFR alpha Protein, Rat (sf9, His) is the recombinant rat-derived CNTFR alpha protein, expressed by Sf9 insect cells , with C-His labeled tag.
