27-TBDMS-4-Dehydrowithaferin A (compound 9b; 48 h) exhibits potent antiproliferative effects on HeLa (IC50=1.7 μM), A-549 (IC50=5.3 μM), MCF-7 (IC50=0.5 μM), and normal Vero cells (IC50=3.1 μM)[1].
27-TBDMS-4-Dehydrowithaferin A (24 μM; 48 h) activates caspase-3 in HeLa cells[1].
27-TBDMS-4-Dehydrowithaferin A (8 μM; 1-4 h) with a longer incubation period (2-4 h) leads to apoptosis, effect that was maintained at concentrations of 12 and 16 μM[1].
