Arbaprostil is an orally active PGE1 (HY-B0131) analog. Arbaprostil protects the gastrointestinal mucosa from stomach acid and other irritants, promotes healing rate of gastric ucler through the antisecretory effect[1][2].

Arbaprostil (1-100 μg/kg，静脉注射，单剂量) 在 Wistar 大鼠中以剂量依赖的方式促进近端十二指肠中碳酸氢盐的分泌，加快十二指肠损伤愈合率并预防十二指肠粘膜损伤[1]。
Arbaprostil pH 依赖性的抑制 Donryu 大鼠的胃分泌 (1-100 μg/kg，口服，单剂量)，促进胃溃疡愈合 (3-10 μg/kg，口服，一天两次共 4 周)[2]。

Administration: i.v., single dose
Result: Increased secrection of HCO3+.
Animal Model: Donryu rats[2]
Dosage: 1-100 μg/kg
Administration: 1-100 μg/kg, p.o. and i.d. (intraduodenally), single dose; 3-10 μg/kg, p.o., twice daily for 4 weeks
Result: Inhibited the gastric secretion when intraduodenally administrated.
Increased the gastric secretion when orally administrated.
Accelerated the healing rate of gastric ucler.
