RNA Immunoprecipitation is used to study the specific interaction mechanisms between RNA and proteins. RNA is released by reversing the cross-link, followed by RNA analysis using reverse transcription PCR or RNA-Seq, which quantifies RNA types and abundance bound to proteins.
