DC07090 is a novel and potent small molecule inhibitor targeting the human enterovirus EV71 3C protease, with an IC50 value of 21.72 μM and no significant toxicity, as indicated by a CC50 greater than 200 μM. DC07090 can inhibit EV71 replication, with an EC50 value of 22.09 μM and a Ki value of 23.29 μM. DC07090 also inhibits the replication of Coxsackievirus A16 (CVA16), showing an EC50 value of 27.76 μM[1].
