生物活性

Eritoran （E5564 free base） is a Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) antagonist. Eritoran protects mice against lethal influenza virus infection, such as Ebola virus (EBOV), Marburg virus (MARV). Eritoran decreases the level of granulocytosis, may alleviate the severity of the "cytokine storm". Eritoran inhibits pathogenesis of filovirus infection. Eritoran has anti-inflammatory activity[1][2].

(In Vivo)

Eritoran (233 μg/小鼠；腹腔注射；10 天) 保护小鼠免受 EBOV 致死性感染，实验结束时保有 70% 的生存率[1]。
Eritoran (2 μL of 1.1 mg/mL, 滴注角膜) 在小鼠中对 LPS (HY-D1056) 诱导的角膜炎症具有抑制作用[2]。

Animal Model: C57BL/6J mice challenged with lethal EBOV[1]
Dosage: 233 μg/mouse
Administration: Intraperitoneal injection; 10 days
Result: Reduced granulocytosis and results in a higher percentage of activated CD11b+ Ly6G/Ly6C+ neutrophils.
Dramatically reduced the levels of IFN-γ-secreting CD8+ and CD4+ T cells and IL-17A-secreting CD4+ T cells.
