Gadoteridol pentahydrate is a gadolinium-based magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) contrast agent, used in the imaging of the central nervous system[1].

(In Vivo)

Gadoteridol (1 mM; intracerebral injection; once) enhances distribution of rAAV1 in the rat hippocampus[1].

MCE has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Animal Model: Sprague-Dawley rats (3 -5 months)[1]
Dosage: 1 mM/rat
Administration: Intracerebral injection, once, co-infused with rAAV1 or AAV5
Result: Increased the transduction efficiency of AAV1 but not AAV5.
