Hexadecanal-d₅ (Palmitaldehyde-d₅) is deuterium labeled Hexadecanal. Hexadecanal (Palmitaldehyde) , a volatile long-chain aliphatic aldehyde, is emitted from human feces, skin, and breath. The receptor for hexadecanal(OR37B) is highly conserved across mammals.
