Motexafin gadolinium (PCI 0120) is a potent antitumor agent. Motexafin gadolinium is a specific texaphyrin in complex with gadolinium(III). Motexafin gadolinium increases intracellular ROS production. Motexafin gadolinium enhances sensitivity of tumor cells to ionizing radiation[1][2][3].

(In Vitro)

Motexafin gadolinium (50 µM; 22 h) 导致 A549 细胞中的二氯荧光素乙酸盐 (DCFA) 氧化[1]。
Motexafin gadolinium (100 µM；4、12 小时) 与 Zn (100 μM) 和抗坏血酸 (100 μM) 结合时，可增加拉莫斯淋巴瘤细胞中细胞内 ROS 的产生和细胞凋亡 (24 小时)[2] .
