描述

CD46 protein acts as a crucial cofactor for complement factor I, a serine protease protecting autologous cells by cleaving deposited C3b and C4b. In addition to complement regulation, CD46 is involved in sperm-oocyte fusion during fertilization. Acting as a costimulatory factor for T-cells, it promotes the differentiation of CD4+ cells into T-regulatory 1 cells, crucial for immune modulation by secreting interleukin-10, suppressing immune responses, and preventing autoimmunity. CD46 Protein, Cynomolgus (HEK293, His) is the recombinant cynomolgus-derived CD46 protein, expressed by HEK293, with C-His labeled tag. The total length of CD46 Protein, Cynomolgus (HEK293, His) is 295 a.a., with molecular weight of 50-70 kDa.
