CYP11B2 Protein, a cytochrome P450 monooxygenase, synthesizes aldosterone, pivotal for salt and water balance, impacting blood pressure and cardiovascular health. Additionally, CYP11B2 may be involved in the androgen metabolic pathway, expanding its physiological roles.
