ERK2 Protein, a key component of the MAPK/ERK cascade, regulates diverse cellular processes such as transcription, translation, mitosis, apoptosis, endosomal dynamics, and Golgi apparatus fragmentation. Through phosphorylation, it modulates substrates including transcription factors, cytoskeletal elements, apoptosis regulators, translation regulators, protein kinases, and phosphatases.
