The OGG1 protein is a DNA repair enzyme specifically designed to cleave DNA at the 8-oxoG residue and plays a key role in maintaining genome integrity.It demonstrates the ability to excise damaged bases such as 7,8-dihydro-8-oxoguanine and 2,6-diamino-4-hydroxy-5-N-methylformamidopyrimidine from the DNA structure (FAPY).OGG1 Protein, Human (N-His) is the recombinant human-derived OGG1 protein, expressed by E.coli , with N-6*His labeled tag.
