The SLC44A1 protein acts as a choline/H+ and high-affinity ethanolamine/H+ antiporter and is critical for regulating cellular choline and ethanolamine transport. Its dual function actively redistributes intracellular ethanolamine and balances the CDP-Cho and CDP-Etn arms of the Kennedy pathway. SLC44A1 Protein, Human (Sf9) is the recombinant human-derived SLC44A1 protein, expressed by Sf9 insect cells .
