UNC8732 is a targeted protein degradation (TPD) agent. It generates aldehyde metabolites through amine oxidase catalysis, which bind to C326 of the ubiquitin E3 ligase FBXO22, recruiting the SCFFBXO22 Cullin complex. The recruited FBXO22 further induces degradation of histone methyltransferases and the oncogene NSD2[1].
