Ion Exchange Chromatography is a separation technique based on the differences in net charge of molecules. Proteins or other charged biomolecules are adsorbed onto a chromatographic medium with an opposite charge based on their net charge at a specific pH. This method is widely used in protein purification, complex separation, and the charge analysis of biomolecules.
