Complete Freund's adjuvant (CFA, 1 mg/ml) is an immunoadjuvant emulsified with antigen that can enhance an animal's immune response to an antigen. Complete Freund's adjuvant (CFA, 1 mg/ml) is also an inducer of the Th1 immune response and a ligand of TLRs. Complete Freund's adjuvant (CFA, 1 mg/ml) contains heat-killed inactive tuberculosis bacilli and consists of a paraffin oil-in-water emulsion. Complete Freund's adjuvant (CFA, 1 mg/ml) stimulates a strong and durable immune response and can be used to induce rheumatoid arthritis in rats, and more[1][2][3].

体内研究
(In Vivo)

Complete Freund's adjuvant (1 mg/ml, 0.1 mL；皮下注射；每天一次，持续两天) 可用于诱导 Sprague-Dawley 大鼠类风湿性关节炎。

Animal Model: Sprague-Dawley rats[3]
Dosage: 1 mg/ml, 0.1 mL
Administration: s.c.; once a day for two days
Result: Increased the index of thymus and spleen.
Decreased the activities of GSH, CAT, SOD and MPO.
Increased the level of IL-1β, IL-6, IL-17, MCP-1, TNF-α, COX-2, 5-LOX, NF-p65, IgG1 and IgG2a.
Reduced level of IL-10.
