生物活性

Iturin A is a cyclic lipid peptide with strong antifungal activity. Iturin A induces ROS explosion and induces apoptosis and autophagy in tumor cells. Iturin A has antitumor activity[1][2].

(In Vitro)

Iturin A (5-250 µg/mL；12 小时) 在 5 µg/mL 的浓度下显著抑制 Fusarium graminearum 分生孢子活性，在 50 µg/mL 时完全抑制分生孢子萌发[1]。

Dosage: 3 mg/kg
Administration: 15 days
Result: Significantly inhibited tumor growth.
Induced apoptosis and autophagy of tumor cells.
Improved the tumor immune microenvironment.
Had no significant influence on body weight, food intake, and viscera index in mice
Interfered with the liver function of mice, but has no significant effect on the renal function.
Was safe to kidney and spleen.

  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?
