CNTN5/Contactin-5 protein mediates cell surface interactions in nervous system development, promoting neurite outgrowth in cerebral cortical neurons but not in hippocampal neurons. It is involved in auditory system neuronal activity and interacts with PTPRG, potentially regulating neuronal functions and connectivity. CNTN5/Contactin-5 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived CNTN5/Contactin-5 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.
