The FOLR4 protein serves as a receptor for IZUMO1 on the egg membrane and plays a crucial role in species-specific gamete recognition and fertilization. The interaction between IZUMO1 and FOLR4 (IZUMO1R/JUNO) is an important adhesion event that is required for fertilization but not sufficient for cell fusion. FOLR4 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived FOLR4 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag. The total length of FOLR4 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is 209 a.a., with molecular weight of 30-35 kDa.
