描述

The GAD1/GAD67 protein utilizes pyridoxal 5'-phosphate as a cofactor and acts as a catalyst in the synthesis of the inhibitory neurotransmitter gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). GAD1 plays a key role in the conversion of glutamate to GABA, a key neurotransmitter involved in regulating neuronal excitability. GAD1/GAD67 Protein, Human (sf9, His) is the recombinant human-derived GAD1/GAD67 protein, expressed by Sf9 insect cells , with C-His labeled tag.
