The GCDH protein is essential for the degradation of L-lysine, L-hydroxylysine, and L-tryptophan. It catalyzes the oxidative decarboxylation of glutaryl-CoA to crotonyl-CoA, releasing CO(2). GCDH Protein, Human (sf9, His) is the recombinant human-derived GCDH protein, expressed by Sf9 insect cells , with C-His labeled tag.
