IL-17F 蛋白, Rat (sf9, His)

IL-17F is an inflammatory homodimeric cytokine that induces many proinflammatory cytokines and chemokines. IL-17F also induces antimicrobial peptides. IL-17F plays a protective role in colon cancer development and can be used for the research of autoimmune diseases, infection and cancer^[1][2]. IL-17F Protein, Rat (sf9, His) is a recombinant rat IL-17F protein with His tag at the C-terminus and is expressed in sf9 insect cells. It consists of 153 amino acids (M1-A153).

IL-17F是一种炎症细胞因子，可诱导多种促炎细胞因子和趋化因子，包括TGF-β、IL-2、ICAM1、GM-CSF、CCL2、CCL7、TSLP、MMP13、IL-6和CXCL1。IL-17F还与IL-22一起诱导抗菌肽，包括hBD-2、S100A7、S100A8和S100A9，并且可以与人嗜酸性粒细胞中的IL-23协同作用，促进IL-1β和IL-6的产生。IL-17F 是同型二聚体细胞因子。IL-17F 与 IL-17A 最相似（50% 同源性），并且可以作为 IL-17AF 异二聚体产生。IL-17A、IL-17F和IL-17A/F使用相同的受体复合物：IL-17RA和IL-17RC异二聚体。它们触发性质相似的信号通路，并且 IL-17F 表现出最低的生物活性。IL-17F 对 IL-17RA 亚基的亲和力比 IL-17A 低约 100–1000 倍，并且不与 IL-17A 竞争与 IL-17RA 的结合^[1][2]。

IL-17F (1 ng/mL; -24 h) up-regulates the expression of Cav-1 and p-Cav-1 in a time-dependent manner in rat pulmonary microvascular endothelial cells (PMVECs)^[5].
IL-17F (2-1 ng/mL; 1-5 days) increases rat osteoblasts proliferation in a dose- and time-dependent manner^[6].

1. Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA.
2. Immobilized rat IL17F-His at 10 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind Rat IL17RA-Fc3. The EC₅₀ of Rat IL17RA-Fc3 is 0.28-0.66 μg/mL.

Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution of 20 mM Tris, 500 mM NaCl, 10% Glycerol, pH 7.4. Normally 5 % - 8 % trehalose, mannitol and 0.01% Tween 80 are added as protectants before lyophilization.

It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 μg/mL in ddH₂O.

Stored at -20°C for 2 years. After reconstitution, it is stable at 4°C for 1 week or -20°C for longer (with carrier protein). It is recommended to freeze aliquots at -20°C or -80°C for extended storage.
