PLTP proteins are centrally involved in lipid metabolism, mediating the transfer of phospholipids and free cholesterol between lipoproteins and HDL. This includes the exchange of various molecules such as diacylglycerol, sphingomyelin, and phosphatidylcholine. PLTP Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived PLTP protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.
