4'-Hydroxytamoxifen is a metabolite of Tamoxifen. 4'-Hydroxytamoxifen shows higher affinity for the ER than Tamoxifen. 4'-Hydroxytamoxifen induces a non-apoptotic cytotoxic effect in human endometrial adenocarcinoma cells[1].
