核苷转运体 (NTs) 是一类跨膜蛋白,负责介导核苷及核苷类似物的跨膜运输,广泛表达于哺乳动物细胞,根据转运机制和底物特异性分为两大主要家族:平衡型核苷转运体 (equilibrative nucleoside transporters,ENTs/SLC29)和集中型核苷转运体 (concentrative nucleoside transporters,CNTs/SLC28)。ENTs 有四种亚型 (hENT1-4),通过浓度梯度被动转运核苷。CNTs 有三种亚型 (hCNT1-3),依赖钠离子梯度主动摄取核苷。

Nucleoside transporters (NTs) are a class of transmembrane proteins responsible for mediating the transmembrane transport of nucleosides and nucleoside analogs. They are widely expressed in mammalian cells and are classified into two major families based on their transport mechanisms and substrate specificities: equilibrative nucleoside transporters (ENTs/SLC29) and concentrative nucleoside transporters (CNTs/SLC28). ENTs have four subtypes (hENT1-4), which passively transport nucleosides through concentration gradients. CNTs have three subtypes (hCNT1-3), which actively uptake nucleosides dependent on sodium ion gradients.
Nucleoside transporters can be used in research on cardiovascular diseases, cancer, and viral diseases[1][2][3].
