Acts upstream of or within several processes, including positive regulation of interferon-gamma production; positive regulation of nitric oxide biosynthetic process; and response to bacterium. Located in external side of plasma membrane. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in tropical spastic paraparesis.
