Moprolol ((±)-Moprolol) is an beta-adrenergic receptor blocker, which can be used for research in essential hypertension^[1][2][3].

l-Moprolol 是一种 β 阻断剂的 l-对映体，具有低负性肌力活性和轻度内在拟交感神经活性，可有效用于全身性高血压研究。在原发性开角型青光眼 (POAG) 或高眼压 (OHT) 模型中，局部应用l-Moprolol 可与噻洛尔一样有效地降低眼压 (IOP)，由于其对支气管肌肉缺乏活性，已成为抑制青光眼的一种很有前景的化合物^[3]。
