Ophiopogonin B (OP-B) induces the autophagy and apoptosis of colon cancer cells by activating JNK/c-Jun signaling pathway. Ophiopogonin B is a saponin compound isolated from Radix Ophiopogonjaponicus[1].

Ophiopogonin B (0、5、10 和 20μM) 通过 G0/G1 期细胞周期停滞抑制 HT-29 和 HCT-116 细胞系的增殖[1]。
Ophiopogonin B 通过抑制 Bax 和裂解 caspase 3 的表达并促进 Bcl-2 的表达来诱导细胞凋亡。Ophiopogonin B 治疗还会增加 Beclin 1 的表达和 LC3I 向 LC3II 的转化，并激活 JNK/c-Jun 信号通路[1]。
