Glycophorin C (GYPC) protein is a minor sialoglycoprotein in human erythrocyte membranes whose extracellular domain may contain Gerbich antigen and Plasmodium falciparum merozoite receptors. In addition to blood group determinants, GYPC critically regulates erythrocyte stability, placing it at the crossroads of structural integrity and immune interactions. Glycophorin C/GYPC Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived Glycophorin C/GYPC protein, expressed by HEK293 , with N-His labeled tag.
