IFN-alpha 2/IFNA2 蛋白, Rhesus Macaque (HEK293, His)

IFN-alpha 2 (IFNA2), belongs to type I interferon family, is a protein secreted by cells infected by a virus and acting on other cells to inhibit viral infection^[1]. IFN-alpha 2 exerts cytotoxic activity against CD8⁺ T cells and induces CD4⁺ T cell depletion^[3]. IFN-alpha 2/IFNA2 Protein, Rhesus Macaque (HEK293, His) contains 188 a.a. (M1-E188), is produced in HEK293 cells with a C-terminal His-tag.

IFN-α 2（IFNA2；IFN-α2）属于 I 型干扰素家族，由浆细胞样树突状细胞 (pDC) 接触 HIV-1BaL 后产生，以抑制病毒感染^[1]。
干扰素（IFN）最初被认为是一种在体外“干扰”病毒复制的物质。IFN-α/β及相关分子被归类为I型干扰素，其他两类分别为II型干扰素（IFN-γ）和III型干扰素（IFN-λ）^[2]。
IFN-α 2 亚型是目前唯一被许可用于治疗乙型肝炎病毒 (HBV) 和 HCV 引起的感染的亚型^[3]。
IFN-α图 2 显示了细胞中分拣蛋白依赖性运输，并增加了 HIV 感染细胞中干扰素刺激基因 (ISG) 的表达水平^[1][4]。它还具有针对 CD8⁺ T 细胞的细胞毒活性，并增强 CD4⁺ T 细胞的耗竭^[3]。
α 2 等位基因中，IFN-α 2b 是主要等位基因，而 IFNα-2a 次要，而 IFNα-2c 只是次要等位基因变异^[5]。

IFN-alpha 2 increases expression level during acute SIV infection with protective as well as worsening effects, when the thymus becomes dysfunctional and contributes to pathology in the thymus of rhesus macaques after infection^[3].

Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Rhesus Macaque IFNA2 at 10 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind Human IFNAR2. The ED₅₀ for this effect is 2.354 μg/mL.

It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 μg/mL in ddH₂O. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% BSA, 5% HSA, 10% FBS or 5% Trehalose).

Stored at -20°C for 2 years. After reconstitution, it is stable at 4°C for 1 week or -20°C for longer (with carrier protein). It is recommended to freeze aliquots at -20°C or -80°C for extended storage.
