Involved in positive regulation of cell population proliferation; positive regulation of ubiquitin-dependent protein catabolic process; and protein phosphorylation. Located in several cellular components, including apical plasma membrane; focal adhesion; and lamellipodium. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; central nervous system; eye; genitourinary system; and yolk sac.
