FGF-21 蛋白, Cynomolgus (HEK293, His)

FGF-21 is a metabolic regulator and a potential anti-diabetic agent. FGF-21 regulates energy balance and glucose and lipid homeostasis through a heterodimeric receptor complex comprising FGFR1 and 尾-klotho. FGF-21 can also signal through FGFR2 and FGFR3. FGF-21 can be used for research of obesity, NASH, NAFLD, and type 2 diabetes mellitus^[1][2]. FGF-21 Protein, Cynomolgus (HEK293, His) is the recombinant cynomolgus-derived FGF-21 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

Measured in a cell proliferation assay using NIH 3T3 mouse embryonic fibroblast cells. The ED₅₀ for this effect is 0.5175 μg/mL in the presence of 1.25 μg/mL Recombinant Human Klotho beta, corresponding to a specific activity is 1.932×10³ units/mg.

It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 μg/mL in ddH₂O. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% BSA, 5% HSA, 10% FBS or 5% Trehalose).

Stored at -20°C for 2 years. After reconstitution, it is stable at 4°C for 1 week or -20°C for longer (with carrier protein). It is recommended to freeze aliquots at -20°C or -80°C for extended storage.
