生物活性

Foxy-5, a WNT5A agonist, is a mimicking peptide of WNT5A which is a non-canonical member of the Wnt family. Foxy-5 triggers cytosolic free calcium signaling without affecting β-catenin activation and it impairs the migration and invasion of epithelial cancer cells. Foxy-5 effectively reduces the metastatic spread of WNT5A-low prostate cancer cells in an orthotopic mouse model[1][2][3].

Animal Model: A Xenograft Mouse Model of Human Colonic Cancer[2]
Dosage: 2 mg/kg
Administration: i.p. 9 times a day for 7-23 days
Result: Reduced the expression of ALDH, DCLK1 and COX-2.
Increased the expression of 15-PGDH.
Reduced the expression of the downstream β-catenin target ASCL2.
Animal Model: A Xenograft Mouse Model of Prostate Cancer [3]
Dosage: 2 mg/kg
Administration: i.p. once a day, for 3-9 weeks
Result: Reduced metastatic spread and the number of tumor cells in lymph nodes.
