Part of transcription regulator complex. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; heart; male reproductive gland or organ; skeletal musculature; and somite. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in congenital structural myopathy; dilated cardiomyopathy; hypertrophic cardiomyopathy; nemaline myopathy; and spinal muscular atrophy.
