Marbofloxacin-d₈  (Synonyms: 马波沙星 d₈)

Marbofloxacin-d₈ is the deuterium labeled Marbofloxacin. Marbofloxacin is a third generation fluoroquinolone and orally active antimicrobial agent, which has a broad spectrum bactericidal activity and good efficacy. Marbofloxacin can be used for the research of infections by Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and Mycoplasma[1][2][3].

Stable heavy isotopes of hydrogen, carbon, and other elements have been incorporated into drug molecules, largely as tracers for quantitation during the drug development process. Deuteration has gained attention because of its potential to affect the pharmacokinetic and metabolic profiles of drugs^[1].
