Olopatadine-d₆ 

Olopatadine-d₆ is the deuterium labeled Olopatadine[1]. Olopatadine is an orally active and selective histamine 1 (H1) receptor antagonist and a mast cell stabilizer. Olopatadine prevents immunologically stimulated pro-inflammatory mediator release from human conjunctival mast cells. Olopatadine can be used for researching allergic conjunctivitis[2][3].

Stable heavy isotopes of hydrogen, carbon, and other elements have been incorporated into drug molecules, largely as tracers for quantitation during the drug development process. Deuteration has gained attention because of its potential to affect the pharmacokinetic and metabolic profiles of drugs^[1].
