生物活性

Survivin-IN-2 is a survivin inhibitor. Survivin-IN-2 shows cytotoxicity in cells with IC50s of 0.53 μM (C4-2 cells) and 1.06 μM (PC-3 cells). Survivin-IN-2 effectively suppresses xenograft tumor growth without apparent toxicity and eliminates survivin in the tumors. Survivin-IN-2 can be used for the study of prostate cancer[1].

Animal Model: NSG mice implanted with PC-3 xenograft tumors[1]
Dosage: 15 mg/kg
Administration: i.p. twice a week for four weeks
Result: Suppressed the growth of the PC-3 xenograft tumors.
Upregulated the level of cleaved caspase-3.
Reduced the survivin level.
Did not significantly affect the body weight of the treated mice compared with the control mice.
