(Rac)-Levomepromazine-d₃ hydrochloride  (Synonyms: (Rac)-Methotrimeprazine-d₃ hydrochloride)

(Rac)-Levomepromazine-d₃ (hydrochloride) is a labelled racemic Methotrimeprazine, which is a phenothiazine which has antagonist actions at multiple neurotransmitter receptor sites, including dopaminergic, cholinergic, serotonin and histamine receptors[1][2].

Stable heavy isotopes of hydrogen, carbon, and other elements have been incorporated into drug molecules, largely as tracers for quantitation during the drug development process. Deuteration has gained attention because of its potential to affect the pharmacokinetic and metabolic profiles of drugs^[1].
