Myricitrin, a naturally occurring flavonoid, is an orally active nitric oxide (NO) and PKC inhibitor. Myricitrin has central nervous system activity, including anxiolytic-like action. Myricitrin possesses antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antifibrotic and anti-malarial effects[1][2][3][4][5].

体外研究
(In Vitro)

Myricitrin 作为自由基清除剂和金属离子螯合剂具有很强的抗氧化活性。据报道，Myricitrin 可抑制醛糖还原酶活性和低密度脂蛋白的氧化，并具有抗疟疾作用[1]。
Myricitrin 对 DPPH 和 NO 自由基以及 H2O2 具有很强的清除活性（IC50 分别为 1.31 μg/mL、21.54 μg/mL 和 28.46 μg/mL）[2]。
Raw264.7 细胞用 Myricitrin (0.2-1 mM) 预处理 2 小时，然后用浓度为 100 ng/mL 的 LPS (HY-D1056) 刺激 4 小时。Myricitrin 抑制 TNFα 的产生并增强 LPS 刺激的 Raw264.7 细胞中的 RANTES（受激活调节的正常 T 细胞表达和分泌）的产生。需要注意的是，当同时或在 LPS 刺激后添加 Myricitrin 时，未观察到 Myricitrin 的抑制作用[3]。

Myricitrin（10-100 mg/kg；口服管饲；每日一次；连续两天）在四氯化碳 (CCl4) (HY-Y0298) 中毒小鼠中表现出抗氧化、抗炎和抗纤维化活性[2]。
Myricitrin（5-30 mg/kg；腹腔注射；一次）剂量依赖性地阻断 Apomorphine (HY-12723) 引起的刻板行为和攀爬，此剂量不会引起僵住症[5]。

Animal Model: BALB/cN mice (10-12 weeks old, 23-27 g) following CCl4-intoxication[2]
Dosage: 10, 30 and 100 mg/kg (0.5% Methylcellulose (HY-125861))
Administration: Oral gavage; once daily; for two consecutive days
Result: Significantly ameliorated CCl4-induced increase in serum aspartate transaminase (AST) and alanine transaminase (ALT) levels and histopathological changes in the liver.
Hepatic oxidative stress was reduced, as evidenced by the decrease in lipid peroxidation, with concomitant increase in GSH level and CYP2E1 expression.
COX-2 and TNF-α overexpression in the liver was reduced.
The expression of TGF-β1 and α-SMA was markedly ameliorated.
Increased proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) expression.
Animal Model: Male adult Swiss albino mice (30-40 g)[5]
Dosage: 5 mg/kg, 10 mg/kg, and 30 mg/kg (Tween 80/saline)
Administration: i.p.; once
Result: Dose-dependently blocked the stereotypy and climbing induced by Apomorphine (HY-12723) at doses.
